Muslims are people like anyone else
obviously, they have morals and ethics that usually run contrary to
the historic context of the Quran and the life of Muhammad.
Subjective explanations are formulated to shoehorn a historically
brutal text and actions into a “modern” moral and ethical view.
In reality the context of the Quran and the actions of Muhammad are
to act benign and peaceful until there is sufficient strength
available to expand the “belief” by force. It's not the people,
it is the underlying ideology. It only takes a small group to make a
big change, the Muslim Brotherhood structure in the US alone is an
indicator that this group which is looking to make that change is
filling its ranks using organizations considered by many to be benign. This with the Salafist movement growing all the while quoting the same Quran, the ideology is flawed.
